Preston Winn - Church Moderator

My name is Preston Winn and I am the moderator of the church. The moderator is the chairman of the board and runs the monthly board meetings and conducts the annual church business meeting. I also listen to concerns of the members of the congregation and either try to answer their concerns or direct them to the appropriate person who can help them. As moderator I also assist the chair people of each commission to complete their tasks as needed.
I also teach 5th and 6th grade boys in our Pioneer Club.

I am retired from teaching agriculture for 40 years. I live on a farm that has been in our family for 150 years. I am married to Arlene and we have 3 grown children. Arlene and I along with our daughter and son-in-law run a wedding venue on our property.

I find great joy in serving our community by managing the Weston Food Pantry, and driving school bus for our local school district.

Serving God in all of my life is what I desire. Being able to help others is my goal.

Dawn Arnold Chairperson - Finance Commission

Dawn has been a dedicated member of Weston Community Church for over 20 years, bringing financial expertise and a heart for service to the Finance Commission. With a professional background in the financial industry, she is committed to stewarding the church's resources responsibly and supporting its mission through thoughtful financial oversight.

In her role, Dawn contributes to budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning to ensure the church operates with transparency and accountability.

As a devoted church member she volunteers her time in many ways. A few of these include volunteering in the church nursery, greeting members and guests, and setting up and projecting song lyrics weekly.

Outside her commission work, Dawn enjoys time with her family, taking in the beauty of God's creation, reading, hiking and watching various sports.

Sara Tucker - Secretary

Stacy Demroy - Ministry and Outreach

Stacy has been an active member of Weston Community Church since 2017. She is the Chair of the Ministry and Outreach Commission which assists the pastor with his duties as needed and encourages participation in the local communities and abroad. Stacy has a heart for service and a passion for discipleship which closely aligns with the church’s mission to love God and love others.

Stacy is actively involved with the worship team and frequently introduces new music to the congregation. She is also a greeter and prepares the bulletin each week.

Stacy loves traveling and soccer – and traveling to watch soccer. She enjoys visiting national parks and has a goal to visit all the national parks in the U.S.

Jackie Gentry - Asst. Moderator & Music Commission Chairperson

Jackie has enjoyed attending Weston Community Church since 1988. She especially loves connecting with her church family every Sunday and praising God with beloved hymns.

Some of her church duties include representing the Music Commission at monthly board meetings, scheduling worship leaders, teaching the K-2 Pioneer Club Voyager class, copying the bulletin for the worship service, participating in the monthly Gospel Bluegrass Jam, teaching Children’s Church and occasionally playing in the nursery.

Mrs. Gentry retired in 2021 after teaching for 32 years in the Athena-Weston School District. Now she spends her time with her husband Bill, son and daughter-in-law Emery and Stephanie and wonderful grandsons Clay and Grady. Her favorite times are spent with family on the ranch doing yard work and playing with the grandkids. Having the family learn about Jesus together every Sunday is such a blessing to Jackie.

Arlene Winn - Fellowship & Recreation Chairperson and Pioneer Club Coordinator

Arlene has been an active member of Weston Community Church since 1991 serving in various roles over the years.

In her role as Chair of the Fellowship and Recreation Commission she facilitates opportunities for our church to build positive relationships through activities, meals, and celebrations.

As Pioneer Club Coordinator Arlene recruits leaders and facilitates this youth program in order to lighten the load of the group leaders.

As a devoted follower of Jesus she also uses her strengths and talents on the Worship Team, and Children's Church Team.

Outside her church work, Arlene enjoys time with her family, gardening, reading, needle crafts, and Bible study.
